Consumer Experience Phases

Shop

The Shop phase includes any screen a customer visits prior to submitting payment related information and all subsequent payment related screens. On these screens, partners typically include PM Messaging to annotate product prices, package prices, upgrade prices, and ancillaries.

Checkout

The Checkout phase comprises all screens in which customers enter payment information. Checkout is where both PM messaging appears and Uplift's Checkout flow is rendered as a separate payment option. The lending application flow is contained within this phase.

Confirmation

Upon the successful completion of a transaction, partner sites typically land the customer on a screen that contains elements such as an overview of the user's trip itinerary, a price breakdown, and a transaction or booking record number. On this confirmation screen, the API must be called to inform Uplift of a successful booking.
